I could make all of this up, telling wild tales of my time painting murals in China, or the year that I spent cycling through South America with nothing but a Compass and a Sketchbook. No one would be any the wiser because to be honest even I know that to commission an illustrator you don't need to know were he went to school and what 'influences' his creativity.

Unfortunately, as with most illustrators, my background is pretty boring. Went to college for 4 years where I trained as a Technical Illustrator, before working for two years with Marconi Weapons Systems. A further year as a designer, before taking desk space in Soho and going freelance. Through luck or good judgement I have been self employed ever since.

Working as a Technical Line and Airbrush Illustrator I eventually moved out of my ink and paint covered room in Central London and set myself up with a computer, a wife and a couple of kids and now spend my time looking out at the world through a 30 inch screen.
