Sand Casting Process
10 illustrations were produced, commissioned by the Royal Mail, showing the process of 'Sand Casting' Pillar and Post Boxes. The illustrations show in detail, the traditional method still used today of casting hot metal into sand moulds to create the iron boxes. The process was featured within the 2009 Royal Mail Yearbook.
