Dragon
Created for the Royal Mail Yearbook 2009, the client required a series of images showing the 'Anatomical' makeup of a Dragon. The brief was to make the images look as though they were taken from genuine medical source materials, and were based on an existing creature. The overall skeleton was produced in Pencil on Watercolour Paper, with the detail images drawn with a Dipping Pen, also on Watercolour paper.
The set of images were created to elaborate on the release of an edition of picture stamps showing mythical creatures of legend such as the Dragon, and appeared in the yearbook over a spread that included copies of the stamps themselves.
